Who are you?

Topic: SadPoetry

Who are you?
I have seen you everyday.
I’ve seen your face.
I’ve heard your voice when you return.
I’ve felt your hug when you say goodnight.
I see that smile you seem to have memorized.
Who are you?
Could it be I've been blind?
How could I have let this all pass by?
What are these marks on your body?
You say you tripped and fell and I believe you.
But I do not believe your eyes.
And once more, your eyes…
When have they ever looked like that?
Why are they so worn and tired?
Who are you?
Your skin was so tan
I couldn’t keep you out in the sun for more than an hour.
Why is your face so pale?
Why do you stare off into the distance
At nothing?
Why have these awful markings appeared again?
Please tell me you tripped.
Who are you?
Where has all my money gone?
No, it couldn’t possibly be…
Maybe I miscounted.
I’m sure we had more sleeping pills than this.
Where has my prescription gone?
Maybe they miscounted my order
And forgot a few.
Who are you?
Where are you in your mind?
Why wont you talk to me?
Why wont you look at me?
Why do you hate me?
What did I do wrong?
Who are you
And where is my daughter?

i wrote this poem as a point of view from my mother. She read my diary, and for months treated me like a stranger.

This is na awesome masterpeice especially coming from a mother. i see so many breaking hearts on here discribing these feelings etc. that it breacks my heart.
This write will be used as a healing and bonding by children and many mothers.
U will be surprized at the impact this writes holds as each time it's read.
I was jus wonna say that parent-n-child can get medical help for the child.
I see some of myself in this write but thank good for a smart Dr's assistent that put me thru a complete phycical. They found my problem in my blood. Since have had surjury and once the Dr. took out my one mal funtioning parathyroid gland I've become a new person. Mine was a gentic defect 'cause in my parents blood that 'cause me to have a gentic defeck. After diognosed I found accidently that it was the 'cause of my mother's death in 1979. Here I am years later in really good shape but I'm still being closly watched by Dr's so I'm not scared. Modern emdicene saved my life. My deffect 'caused me to have a nervous dis order but once the gland was out the nerven disorder was tottally reversed.
I said all that to say this back when I was totally out of control and people called me names behind my back I really felt like they was right but now I can live with myself 'cause I know that I could never have been 2 blame it was medical.
Sorry 'bout the book put this write touched me deep into the soul.
luv, huggs, strength, hope, joy, peace,
emy
