True Bliss

My smile could light a thousand candles,
with the glee running through my body.
Exciting rushes; butterflies in my stomach,
this must be what true bliss feels like.
Dark thoughts and feelings grow fainter,
colour ahead of the frightening clouds.
A firm grip on the rope to recovery,
depression was starting to set in early.
I look out my window in anticipation,
my heart flutters every time a car goes past.
I crave your hugs; kisses; the smell your scent,
this must be what true bliss feels like.

Awesome writing!
Think I felt that a time or two.
But don't know the answer on the true bliss.
Keep writing, it's good to see someone's dark feelings fade into the past.
A masterpeice as it lets the reader know that life isn't all bad and that joy can come.
luv, huggs, smiles,
emy |
