Every time I've loved before
The person I've loved, has left me wanting more
Every time I've loved, it's been thrown back in my face
It wasn't ever done with style, nor grace
Whenever I've loved someone I've been hurt
It seemed, they could hurt me with very little effort
Now I'm afraid to love again
I fear putting my feeling out there again
So, here I sit afraid to take a chance
If I keep waiting I'm never going to get my romance
Perhaps, I should just throw caution to the wind
And let go of my emotional whirlwind
I should just over come my fear
But that's not as easy as it may appear
Of my fear, I'll do my best to let go
But I got this fear a long time ago
The guys in my past destroyed my confidence
I had quite a lot of confidence, once
It has taken me so long to once again trust men
Because of all this, I'm afraid to love again

I didn't know you knew me LOL
Thanks for writing this one it reminds
me of how i feel, nothing has ever
worked out for me in my life as far
as relationships go, so i choose to
live the remaining of it alone now

because I can also relate to the way you've expressed your feeling of going round and round in circles and never finding what you do deserve out of a loving relationship!
