So long farewell

Contributed by N0body on Monday, 8th November 2004 @ 05:31:28 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

So long fare well,I say goodbye,
But there are so many things you need to clarify.

Why all of a sudden you grew dark and distant,
Why I couldn't follow you, because you were to resistant.

So long farewell, I say good bye,
But how come you stopped and forgot how to try?

Why can't you look up and actually see?
See everything around you, and actually see me.

So long farewell, I say goodbye,
So long to your stupidity, which I cannot rely.

I told you, I did, and I tried to help too,
But you didn't seem to notice, so I gave up on you.

So long farewell, I say goodbye,
I guess I wasn't good enough to qualify.

Why did you stop caring and wanting to know?
Why'd you you give up and decide to go?

So long farewell, I say goodbye,
I'll scream and laugh, and smile and cry.

Why do you walk in the rain with no coat or cloak?
Would you even care if it's my heart you broke?

So long farewell, I say goodbye,
Why didn't you care when I begun to cry?

Why be so mean, and act so plain?
Stop acting so cool, because we're both going insane.

So long farewell, I say goodbye,
But to say this is your fault would really be a lie,

Because even though you were the one to go,
I realize I wouldn't have had to say goodbye...
...If I had never said hello.

Goodbye can be so hard to say even if not saying the words. Good luck with starting fresh again along with saying goodbye.

A bit redundant with the so long goodbyes but otherwise not bad. Keep writing and trying.

I liked, especially with the little twist at the end. It kinda reminds me of what my sister went through. Except-she didn't cry-she was angry-but that's my sister for ya. ^_~

Nice, I liked it, it kind of hit me hard though, because well of my issues. But saying Goodbye is something that everybody will have to do sooner or later.
