My heart has become a desolate wasteland
Filled with emptiness that I can not stand
No one sees the black hole inside
No one knows that my soul has died
Covered up by a lying smile
The pain inside begins to pile
Filling my head with suicide
Leaving me no place to hide
I take the blade and cut my skin
To release the pain I feel within
The crimson red it flows so free
Staining me for all to see
I wish they could see the pain
See that my heart is slain
But all they see is the flowing blood
They don’t see the tears that flood
I watch as emptiness becomes me
It is now impossible to break free
Walking around as though I were dead
Covered in a crimson red

Well, I can sure relate to this. You are strong
and you CAN break free from this not
everyone is able to face what you are going
through let alone write about. You can and
you will get through this and in the meantime
keep on writing powerful poems like this.
