Looking out my window

Topic: Lifepoems

Looking out her window
At the life she knew before
The life she threw away
For the one that she adored

He showed her life beyond what she knew
But now she misses the life she once knew
The life she gave up for him
When he gave up nothing for her

She only knew what she wanted never what she had
And when she got what she wanted
It didn't seem to bad
It was her dream come true

But after she's had it for all of these years
She realizes it's not what she thought
This life she has dreamed up
Has become a nightmare

Looking threw the window
To a life she once knew
A life she used to take for granted
But now she charishes with all her heart

Oh how she wants her life back
But to leave him would be so painful
He's everything she thought she wanted
But nothing to her now

To look at him and see his eyes
Looking back at her
Makes her shiver all over
Just knowing he's looking back at her

She knows he knows she wants to leave
But he would never let her go
He would kill a soul who helped her
Her life has become his own

So she looks out her window
At a life she once knew
Hoping beyond hope
She will get to be a part of it once more
