Dad

Topic: AngryPoetry

I hate you for what you have done
To me and my family
You didn't think of the consequences
You thought so selfishly
A life we fought so hard for
Has been broken in two
All the pain and suffering
Has been brought on by you
You were only thinking
Of how it would affect you
Because of what you have done
We have to start anew.
You've moved on with your life
And left us behind
I feel as though I've lost my Dad
Someone I'll never be able to find.
I was 'Daddy's Little Girl'
It was you that I adored
Now that you've betrayed us all
I don't feel that way anymore
I still need you to be my Dad
I still need someone I can talk to
But I don't know what to say anymore
The words between us are so few.
I will always love you Dad
With all of my heart
But we'll never have what we had before
Because we have drifted so far apart.
