The fire glows on your smile again as more smoke pours from your eyes. Tell me againhow memories fail and leave me to die. I just want to hear your voice again before I shove my fist into your throat...
To pull out the truth, the things I want to hear. As to why plans change like seconds that tick by, and I fade to these stubborn aesthetics.
You try so hard to look like nothing's wrong, but I know you're fighting yourself and lying next to you the door is open, but I can't come through. I just want to hear you ask me to come in before I push my hand into your throat...
To pull out the things I feel you should say. Mark me as wrong, but please don't turn away. Forget your image like you forget it all and come clean.
These precious illusions are mine and it's time to say goodbye but I know your hand will reach into my grave and grasp mine before you kiss me like you wish I would die. Then these piecesof a shooting star and broken hearts can fall into your throat...
To pull out the truth, the things you should say. If only you could remember to tell me how life ends. Just tell me how life ends.

Interesting. The imagery is disturbing, but then, that is why we have dark poetry. Very good. Thank you for sharing. |
