Driving along a country road,
with windows wide open to the world,
the cold November air
dancing through my hair.
The rush of blustery autumn
grabs hold of my tresses
and freezes the roots
while intertwining with each strand.
Three shooting stars flashed across
the night sky
A midnight blue canvas
with an array of stars,
Twinkling and winking at each other
A delicate hand racing,
catching every wave of wind
Going up and down,
like tracing hills,
coming back to the center again.
The music pulsates throughout my body,
and as I momentarily close my eyes,
I'm taken away by every melody,
every beat, every chord.
I feel so free.
