It seems that lately
I've been just trying
Just trying
Not to break down and weep

Under all the pressure
I'm surprised I don't collapse
With school and younger brothers
I'm slowly wilting

Loneliness takes over
And not one of my friends
Can I confide in
I wish I had a shoulder to cry on

I realize I need something more
Because I've been just trying
Just trying
Not to die inside
