I can’t let go of you!

I’m thinking now.
Taking a second to think.
I’m on the ground.
… But do you notice me?
I’m a nervous wreck,
But not quite.
I’ve hit the deck,
And I’m too weak to bite.
But I’m still here.
Lying firm.
I can't disappear.
And so you’ve learnt…

Suicide passes,
In and out.
More thoughts are uncovered.
For what I’m all about.
Thoughts of YOU,
Are still wedged in!
My head keeps going back,
To see the scars on your skin…
How can I STILL hurt?
It’s been so long!
Yet, I feel like dirt!
5 months on!
I just see you there.
Tears in your eyes.
I see your wind-swept hair.
And hear your lies…

It’s turned me bitter!
Because I just can’t let go!
You hold the answer,
For why I feel this low!
You’ve said that you care,
BUT THAT AIN’T ENOUGH!
Because you’re NOT here,
And life’s so tough…!

He’s touched my life,
And I’m sure I’ve touched his.
He held my top arms,
And said I’d be missed.
He showed me his scars,
And said he under stands me.
Said “it’s no way to join the stars…”
‘Coz suicide just brings misery…!
