Winter Redux

November's come, and gone at last
is the summer months and the winter's past
is nothing compared to what is coming now,
a snow so deep, no truck could plow.
It maybe a metaphor or a premonition,
or it maybe I'm falling into repetition
of thoughts and ideas that get stuck in my head
that only get written and hardly said.
The wind whips through my earthen spine,
an unpleasent chill, most unkind
are the people and places in my situation,
my mind, my will, and my infatuation
with girls and comments for my self esteem,
but in the end, what does it really mean?
A temporary high between the good-byes
or little bit more than the look in her eyes
when she turns and prefers another man
or the lost devotion of a loyal fan.
Snowflakes will come and start to fall
and from this space, behind these walls
I'll sit by myself in ebbing pain,
and wish it were more like the rain.

*smiles, pensively*... snow... my love for snow...
*Sigh*
Regardless, I am touched by this little write, I can relate... writer's block is a *****, if only original ideas were more so available to us, all... yet despite your venting, I much enjoyed this wrap up!
