My Suicide

Contributed by happybunnyfan on Sunday, 7th November 2004 @ 01:26:17 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

As the razor blade draws near to my skin
It brings back the pain I hold within,
I have tried to cope
But all you’ve left me is no hope,
As my heart drowns in lies
My mind, body, and soul dies,
I have no love
My body is like a dove,
But I have no wings
Cause you has left me with no things,
As the blood drips to the floor
My hand grips the door,
I fall to the ground
It makes me think of how you put me down,
The darkness encloses me,
Because I’m trying to be something I can not be,
As my head falls, you open the door
And find the note on the floor,
Tears fall to the ground
Now you know how much pain you caused you put me down,
You try to wake me, but you can’t so you scream
I am lost in this dream,
Never to speak
Your tears fall like a creek,
And never to wake
Because I’m took all I can take,
You will forever remember the day I died
For this is my suicide.

Its great when a poet can reflect their emotions and thoughts and create such meaningful poetry and with such talent. We can only hope this reflection never becomes reality as you would be dearly missed by some and the inspiration they have imposed onto others through their talent of poetry would have to live through memory. I want to Thank You once again for sharing your beautiful talent with all of us and ask that those wings be forever spread wide with pride. Your Dear Friend MickeyPigKnuckles :o)

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
