When my life would go wrong,
you always helped to set it right.
When I was alone in the dark,
you showed me the light.
When I was sad,
you made me happy.
When I needed to talk,
you were always there for me.
When I needed a hand,
you gave me two.
When I told you I love you,
you’d say you loved me too.
What ever happened to that?
Did it all just up and change?
I still remember you,
I still love you,
even this very day.
