I dreamed such strange dreams
Byzantine
Stretched to such extremes.
Waking up the sheets are wet
Pillows cast upon the floor
Mobile tossed
Lying like discarded wreckage by the bedroom door.
I dreamed for so long I almost understood
But in the end fingertips merely brushed
And in the end I woke falling endlessly from the weight of oxygen
All of it in my room and outside the world was expectant, hushed

Yes, it's a mystery to me, but that's the point, no? I wonder why you used Byzantine as an age or as a culture to title this one . ..
enigmatic, for sure. |

Nope, didn't make sense. But I like it. The mystery is what makes it fun. |
