A Confused Passenger

Contributed by New_York_Chick on Saturday, 6th November 2004 @ 10:52:50 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

He got onto the train he didn’t know
What would’ve happened if there was no one to show
Him where he has to get off? I wonder if he
Even knows the address at which he has to be
A palm pilot and a voice louder than the noise of the subway
Make him look comical, but he doesn’t care
And New Yorkers won’t laugh, they are used to
Trying to get their point through to a person who’s lost
This guy isn’t scary, but as he yells out
People politely smile and explain what the train map is all about
