Love's Hunger

I see your beautiful skin and
--I just get so excited.
The taste brushing over my teeth and on top of my tongue
--Your screams just sound so right.
My teeth are bared and ready
--You sit quietly in the corner.
I have grown so hungry on these cold nights.
The splendid moment where you are dying
--You have grown so afraid
Blinded, and backed into your little wall
--Which you have built yourself.
Seeing you makes me so delighted
--I simply must sample your tender flesh
A shriek fills the air and I grin in excitement.
My hunger has grown through the frigid nights alone.
Where you have left me sulking at home.
