Passion

Topic: SadPoetry

I want so badly to be passionate again
When I was using, I had passion
When I was dancing, I had passion
When I had Theresa, I had passion

Now I long for something to write
Jumping back in looks better and better
Every minute I draw myself closer
To another bitter end

There is this hole in my heart
God lives within me
And I should be ashamed
I know who can fill this hole
But I am unwilling to ask

Why do I deny Christ?
Why do I forsake the happiness He offers?
Why do I turn my back on unconditional love?
And hate in return?

I can only love others as I love myself
Doing these things to my body
Shows no self love
What can I offer to anyone else?

I deprive myself intentionally
And slowly creep closer
To the dark side once again

fantastic write. the only thing to hold you back is yourself, and sometimes yourself cant find enough reason to hold back till it happens again.
