Did i settle for the moon
when i was reaching for the stars
did i step into the ocean
and accidently float to far

was i chasin rainbows
that werent even there
lookin for that pot of gold
that seems to be off somewhere

did i underestimate the space
between a blink and a tear
did i not listen , to intuition
cuz' i knew what i would hear

did i turn away from the mirror
that tells the hand of time
i never turned , to take a look
cuz' i knew what i would find

i went out past the boundries
that held my heart within
i took the time , to get to know him
and let me let him in

so now im lookin
out the window of hope
and wishin to see your face,
but hopefully
i wont wish to long
and wish my life away~
