I cried out for you,
but you weren't even there.
Holding someone else's hand.
life had to be so unfair.
I held on to you in my heart,
while you pushed away.
We never even touched,
So there was nothing to say.
I saw you for who you were,
but you had to get so mean.
You didn't even give me a chance.
You left me there unseen.
You say we're best friends.
Now I see everything's untrue
When I needed you most,
Where were you?

This happens all to often and it's so
sad, this is exactly why i dont allow myself
to get close to anyone enough that i can
or could call them my best friend because
of this situation right here. It's a painful
one to, Thanks for sharing this one it
reminded me why i'm like i am...and why
i do some of the things i do and have done

It seems that i know this one all too much.. But seriously, for your first poem, as you say, it IS really good, and i think that you have alot more potential comming (lol if that sounded bad i didnt mean it to, im just really bad with words, or at least putting how i feel in the the right way, lost yet?) hope to see more of your work around.
