Somewhere in her broken heart
She still longs for him
The thought of him not in her life
Makes her spirit dim.
For his love is all she's ever known
It's something she thinks she needs
She thinks that without it
Her cuts of love will bleed.
But she is so much stronger
Than she gives herself credit for
She doesn't need him by her side
Or in her life anymore
She believes in forgiveness
She knows love can be tough
Soon she must realise
When enough is enough
It will be hard for her to get over
This guilt trip that she's on
But when she has she'll realise
It's not her that's in the wrong
The hard times will soon be over
And the pain will float away
Her heart will sing a happy song-
She'll see the coming of a brand new day
