My life’s road-a burden at one time-
No longer for me is an uphill climb-
As God has taken my hand to lead me home-
And through streets of gold I now roam…
No longer do the ways of life trouble my soul-
As I have been given a new direction to go-
And so many wonderful things that I now see-
As this place was built it seems just for me…
I lived my life as any other man would-
Always doing the best that I could-
But now, a new path I have to take-
One that I am happy to be allowed to make…
I am sure that again you and I will meet-
So for me, let not your heart feel any defeat-
For in Heaven there are no tears to be cried-
As all who come here have a place at God’s side…

very good poem. you have made a good expression of blessings you had. keep it up. i have written poems on god expressing the help i had obtained and even on mantras. read the poem Gayatri Mantra. Religion does not seperate or distinguish god. he is one and only one. Vibrations of mantras only give us the effect. any body can chant.
