taste

Topic: SadPoetry

Taste, sweet sugary saliva
Precious moment of almost toxic shock
Waiting for the next sip.
A couple more and I’ll pass this point
I’ll forget all about it
Be on my way to building a lasting buzz.
Be on my way to a loose tongue speaking fast about nothing important.
Faint heartburn will soon grow and raise it self to a flaming bloody hole in my stomach.
It’s just a small warm sensual touch now, similar to holding a recently lit lighter in your palm.
Familiar, comforting… soon it will not be.
So much more goes with this peace
Dozy thoughts of blank light blue endless space. “I don’t even like blue”
Sarcastic jabs at people on TV having sex with bodies I want to have sex with.
It just depends on how unfocused you can be.
undying pain and loneliness and at the same time ultimate scrutiny of your life and all others around you.

Just in those few moments of clarity when you’ve loosened you blindfold enough to see clearly and unbiasedly, all is a total ***** mess and everything is so clear. Soon you will fall off the pier and all will become uselessly misshapen and confusing again.
Sure it will be funny and you can make people pee their pants with your stories of your unhappy life that 5 or 6 drinks makes seem tolerable.
Ex-girl friends living on welfare pregnant with the child of complete losers that you know they hate.
Remembering times you used to be happy. Then remembering that was TV and it really wasn’t you.
Where did my life go
Where are the dreams of being a tiger trainer and driving nothing less than a ferrari from my youth.
Why did I ever buy a jetta?
All I think of anymore is the companionship
Girls on the street riding bicyles or waiting at the bus stop.
How come all the relationships I ever had failed.
