In Bed

Contributed by ShadowsCloud on Tuesday, 19th November 2002 @ 01:30:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I'm sitting here and wishing i was in bed
Laying with blankets, pillows, and you
I want you to keep me warm
I will keep you warm too
We can just lay in bed all day
And won't let the sun kick us out
We will just hold each other
The outside world is something
We won't think about
Just you and me curled together
We can be happy this way
Just imagine how it would be
Staying in bed together all day
Wouldn't that be great?

A veritable pair of John and Yoko's then, you and your guy. It's something that most of us love to do but doesn't something always come along and spoil it. Still it's nice to dream and a great way to show him how much you love him. Happiness to you both.

And when this happens Candice,
You make sure they are really thick curtains or a blind to stop the sun getting you up!
And stay there for days, just completely forget everything else!Hehehe
I'm sure he will like this poem, as I do!

With love
Dean:-)

Dean, Since we are buying this house I have painted my windows in my room because when dawn comes the sun shines right in my eyes. Which is really annoying. So I have the window coverings covered. It would be wonderful to stay in bed with him for days just forgetting that there is world out there. I am glad that you like it.

I've never heard of anyone painting their windows before Candice, I just have really thick curtains made from a blanket! I need to be able to look outside as soon as I get up, just to make sure it's still there!Hehehe it always is!

With love
Dean:-)

Dean, the main reason I paint them is because I have a bad habit of not using curtains or I have curtains that are way too short. The curtains I have now only cover the top half of the window so I painted the bottom, that way the light doesn't bother me and I can still see out side. I also have a habit of looking outside when I get up, but not to make sure it is still there. When I look out side it is for snow. And when it isn't winter it is to see if it is raining or not.

Ahhh I see Candice!!
I have used a blanket because it has a really good pattern on it and it's thicker than any curtains I could find!
The only thing with looking out the window first thing is, I must remember to put clothes on first around here, as there's always folks about!Hehe

With love
Dean:-)

Dean, That is another reason I painted the bottom half of my windows. I also have a bad habit of not putting clothes on before I look out my window. With the bottom half painted I can look out the top half with out exposing my self to the world.
