A single Flower
At best 3 or 4 years old
Barely able to speak a sentence
She was able to do
what no one else could?
Gloom and doom erased
What had been a dreadful day?
Evaporated in three seconds
She handed me a flower
Her little curly blond locks
Bounced joyfully
All I could do in return was to smile
