No Turning Back

" No Turning Back "

The full moon is yellow and fades another day
It happened in the darkness as my fear gives way
Daytime is so full of productive busy life
Nighttime fills my heart with so much strife
Nighttime used to be socially enjoyable
But since what happened to me, I am no longer able
My senses at night are really heightened
I now sit in my room totally frightened
I heard him seconds before he attacked
Him stabbing me was a brutal act
He took my wallet as I laid to die
I could not make a sound not even cry
He took his knife and cut my skirt
What he did next really hurt
While he was doing me, I no longer wanted to be alive
God’s Angel’s of mercy gave me power to survive
I no longer live with any emotion
I only go through all the motions
I am hateful, angry, no one to trust
Since this happened to me, I can’t adjust
I often think of dying as a way out
I quickly force myself onto another route
This awful crime is forever part of my life
The evil person wins if I pick up that knife
I will live with this for the rest of my years
When the sun goes down I really feel my fears
I receive loving support from those I love
Here on earth and up above
They give to me the strength I lack
I must move forward now, No Turning Back!!!!!

I've never had a chance
to read one of your poems.

This is really something.

I will have to read it again!

My tears are for your friend. How horrific for someone to do such a terrible thing. The world can be such an evil place. Karma is upon those who do evil. My love to your friend.

A hard poem for you to write you

So very sad

Love Sweetangelukxxx

oh my god, that was an awesome poem. I love it so much, and it goes through all of the emotions that somebody in that position would feel. I really like how you described everything amongst the poem. Overall it was a VERY well written poem. I have to read more ^.^
