THE VOID IN MY LIFE

Contributed by destinyfate on Thursday, 4th November 2004 @ 06:44:31 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I don't think that I can function without you.
You give me the strength to do the things I do.
Having you in my life I know is wrong.
My will power of letting go just isn't that strong.
I can't and don't want to let you go,
but you in my life has got me so low.
Low at my cash, and low at my weight,
but you in my life makes it sometimes great.
You make me high,
other times you make me cry.
You sometimes make me feel good inside,
other times you make me want to run and hide.
You drive me crazy and at the same time keep me sane.
I know I should break free from all your pain.
Maybe you are filling some sort of void,
but eventually my life you will have destroyed.

I am totally amazed by your awesome writing style and admire the way you have the unique talent of pulling your reader right into your poetic creations to feel your emotions. I must say you always paint a complete picture for the minds eye to see without seeking or wanting more. My hats off to you and Great Job. Your Friend MickeyPigKnuckles :o)

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
