Looking Back on Losing You

Promises that never last..
Emotions rushing way to fast.
Tears that well, cannot be stopped.
The bubbly dreams that always pop.

Imagination getting the best of me,
"Why bother" is my new philosophy.
Nightmares of us everynight,
impressions of you that just arn't right.

Remembering how it used to be,
the happiest days in my memory..
4 muskateers always on the run,
bonfires and frizbees, our impression of fun..

But now I don't know what is right,
I've lost all sense of touch and sight..
Confusion taking over me,
theres no real use from what I see.

Missing the days that it was "us",
longing for the days that had no fuss.
Wondering if you feel the same,
and giving up on this age old game..
