Small little kitty, so scared and alone
You took her in your arms, and gave her a home
You let me choose and give her a name
Like you did with our dog socks, the very same
^..^
She wakes you with her little meow
I know she loves you someway, somehow
Heart so big you had to take her in your home
She's much safer now, no more streets to roam
^..^
Snuggled up next to you she loved to lay
When you bought some yarn, she wanted to play
Little furry kitty who was roaming the streets
It was raining when you found her, little wet furry feet
^..^
Snuggled up to socks her little body lays
He was her buddy, he had her heart to stay
She never forgot how you brought her home
Instead of leaving her out there in a world all alone
^..^
Clung to your clothes, clung to your heart
Our love for her will never part
Kitty so small, new name, new life
Us as her teachers, we done what was right
^..^
Her heart wasn't strong she couldnt make it long enough
But she took with her all of our love
Her name was Soul, She was the best
And now her heart lays gently at rest
^..^
