For All To Live By Faith (I)

Contributed by Lee on Thursday, 4th November 2004 @ 04:14:01 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

There are things in this life
That I don't understand
They are things of fear
They make me worry
About the future
When I can no longer
Take the weight of my self-doubt
I pray inwardly and upwardly to my Lord

God
I need my God
You are Beyond
The way of the world

God
I know the devil's a con

I want to gaze upon
Your eyes like mystic pearls

Grace in my life
Is what saves my soul
I am pulled up from
The depths of my
Inner-darkness
Jesus gave me a way out
From the dreaded realms
Of that devil so heartless
And I used to think it was going to be
Curtains for me
But it won't be long
When no souls will belong
In the devil's realm

I'm feeling like I'm saved
In this land of weary souls
I have to proclaim
I want to say
Jesus is my Way
I know that when I
Stood up for myself
I fell flat on my face
I needed someone with
A strength greater than
Any this world has ever known
I needed to stand up
With Jesus Christ
And remember how he stood up for me
And took my place on
The Cross of Shame

What would I do
Without You, Lord?
How could I have lived
Without You for do long?
I was not truly living
You have set me free
My eyes one day
Will truly see
The Light of Your Grace
By the Coming of Your Day

"And He said to him "Most
assuredly, I say to you, hereaf-
ter you shall see heaven open,
and the angels of God ascending
and descending upon the Son of
Man."
-John 1:51

What
Do you think He knows?
What
Do you think He has?
What
Love does He hope to share with you?

Your world as black as night
Your words as venom from a viper
You are the deadliest foe
The world has ever known
You are an entity boiling in the darkest throes
The Lord has will come to try and bring home all of the lost kneeling at your throne

I see my fate
I seize my fate
I see
I see
I believe
Some say you
Have to see it
To believe it
Not me
'Cause I see
I see
In Jesus
I see my fate
In Jesus
I seize my fate

There is a Cross
With the names of every sinner
Who believe in Him
Written on it in
Our Savior's blood

There is a Cross
That will never be forgotten
Because of the One Man's
Sacrifice

Do you see your fate?
Have you seized your fate?
Don't look through the eyes of a worldly sinner
Don't let the world seize your fate

I want to live with Jesus
In the Heavenly Kingdom
I hope that you want
To live with Jesus, too
There is a Wondrous Home
For reborn sinners in the Heavenly Kingdom

We're all children of the Lord
We can be the Lord's wise children
We can be the Lord's faithful children
We can be the Lord's loving children
Or we can perish with the devil

Don't go down
Don't go down
Don't go down
Don't go down (with the devil)
Don't go down (with the devil)
To the depths of
The darkest pits
Don't trust those
Decietful lips

Love the Lord
And keep your heart pure
As the Perfect Son has taught
His disciples to live
In the Way pleasing to God

"Then he said, "The God of
our fathers has chosen you that
you should know His will, and
see the Just One, and hear the
voice of his mouth."
-Acts 22:14

The Lord is Just
And was Just when just a boy
He is sending out his messengers
He is leading his children home

Lord
Lord
Lord
You are
Just, Just, Just
You are
Wondrous
To us
Lord
Lord
Lord
Lord, You are

Lord, You Are

Lord
Lord
Lord
You are the Hand of Grace
You are the one who calms life's storms

good job on this one... you did a nice job illustrating biblical truth in this one and you picked good verses that complemented the prayer
