Life Alone

Contributed by screwup on Thursday, 4th November 2004 @ 10:37:41 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

you destroyed me last night
cutting away my soul
where it used to be
there is a hole
holding it all in
I take the blade
and carve into my skin
blood flowing out
to the newly made sore
you never knew
I always wanted more
my own private hell
every time I tried
I seemed to have fell
you are supposed to feel safe
in your own home
but instead I feel
so alone

I love it... This one strikes home with me. I know this is an upsetting poem but I can't help but feel excited when I know others feel this way, and truly I am not alone
