Looking in my mind I am wondering where you have gone
Why did you have to leave when I knew that you were the one?

Why does it hurt to love someone so much?
And even though it’s been so long I can still feel your touch

I couldn’t imagine life without you and now I have to try
And just the thought of you gone makes me want to cry

You have taken my heart and I thank you for your love
And daily you are the only one I am thinking of

Now you know that I love you and that I am someone that you can trust
But even though we are apart Destiny will do as it must
