Just thought I'd drop a line
To make sure you know
That I'll be there
I'll be there
When you need someone
To pick up the pieces
And I'll be there
When you just can't
Take it anymore
I'll be there
To catch you
Right before you hit the bottom
I'll be there
To listen
When you just need to talk
And I'll be there
To hold you
When you just need to cry
I'll be there
No matter what you do
Or who you become
And I'll understand
When you say
That no one understands
And I could fill these pages
Front to back
With promises to protect you
And keep you safe
From any harm
But for now I'll just say
I'll be there for you
Whenever you need me most
