Perfect Strangers 3: The dance.

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Wednesday, 3rd November 2004 @ 03:16:16 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

The violin coughs a few notes,
The dusty piano alongside it tests its rusty keys,
Creating a worn tune...
The guitar squeels a song of anguish,
The over-powering cello humming a bassy Melodie...
My body sways to the sounds,
Slowly, seductively,
Telling my story through the rolling of my hips...
I nod my head to the lazy beat,
The lyrical proceeded rhyme,
And made music...
The pace quickened slightly,
My heart following,
As I felt your hands wander to my hips...
A stranger, deliciously obscure...
Our shadows melting into one massive puddle of darkness,
The eyes, open windows, souls shining through...
Not a word was spoken...
Words lie; bodies reveal everything...
Sashaying across the floors of a glamorous dream,
The manifestation unspoken,
Speaking through us...
Your infinite eyes penetrating me,
Exposing what is my soul...
The thick barriers around my heart were broken,
As your lips parted, and you sang our lovely song...

"Lost within her eyes,
Drowning in our love...
Gorgeous seraph, claim my heart yours,
I give it willingly...
How sweet, this adoration,
This love between beautiful strangers..."

Your smile tells a tale of Love,
Of a bond so deep...
Your kiss, so enticing...
Thinking only, "How precious this love..."
From that perfect stranger,
Who needs that same umbrella underneath this magnificent storm of illusion we call Sky...
Where the necessity of rain is the only thought that brings us together,
To converse these words into better days,
With no clouds,
Just sheer perfection above us...
We discoursed the next course of life,
Studying each minute as text...
Relieving ourselves of pent up passions and emotions,
Shedding many tears of joy...
Waltzing the dance of lovers,
Nothing around us,
Nothing between us,
Nothing beneath us...
Just the splendiferous image, that is you...
So dazzling, so enchanting...
The spell has been cast,
And we may never come out of it...
Such is this love,
Such is this dance of Desire...
Let it last forever...

Oh indeed ... let Melodie play on, that we may sing her praises and hymns along with her. In love of life, in love with the moment, in love with each other ... just to love.

Enchanting yet again Steph ...
May you dance forever

I just like the first two stanzas
the most.
