In a heartbeat

Contributed by Kisch on Wednesday, 3rd November 2004 @ 07:08:18 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

At first we had the pleasure of admiring one another, which then had to be fed with the need of seeing each other. I started craving you. Your smile ... Your touch ... Your kiss. My Feelings for you were strong. Stronger than the wildest winds!

You'd whisper, ' I love you.' into my ear, for it was not my ear you whispered, but my heart, and never my lips you kissed, but alway's my soul.

All qualities i desired. You owned! and, All qualities you desired. I owned! We completed each other! My heart's thirst for love was quenched when your heart and mine drank from one soul.

We were certain our love was sealed, our souls tied tight. It was sad to realise, we both may only live a lifetime, but relieved to know, our love was infinite.

I loved you more than life itself, you made life worth living. Nothing was impossible. It was as though the universe purely existed, just for our souls to entwine. To me our love was like an untold story of a pure love, that once existed, and is now lost in time forever.

My night's were sleepless, as i was convinced that reality was far better than any dream conceived.

It took time to build our love. But took you a mere second to destroy it. Never had i felt such hurt, no other pain can compare. I gave you my heart to love and care for, told you to be careful, for my heart was as fragile as a baby doves wing's.But instead you tossed it aside.

No words will ever describe the hurt you have done. This pain runs deep, deeper than the love i held for you!

Every part of me wants to forget you, pretend you never existed. But it's impossible!! Tying to forget you, is like trying to remember someone i have never met. My heart aches for you.

Our eternal fire has perished. But will alway's hold a bit of you in my heart.

Our time together will be cherished, our every moment -- 'UNFORGETTABLE!!' as it's marked my soul. Every moment i have truly lived, are moments lived in spirit of love.

I am grateful for love to have touched my heart. Life without love is no life at all. Never thought my heart could beat for only the love of another.

If ever i was asked. 'Would i risk loving again?'

I would answer ..... 'IN A HEARTBEAT!!'
