Have you ever stopped to look deep in your life
At all of this world's hurtful pain's and strife's
Can you name each love that you've seen before
Why do each of us keep going back for more
~~
Well sit down and listen please let me tell you this
It's love on this earth that caused pain like this
People they give everything that they have
Inside of their souls, but they get ripped in half
~~
There is poor love that can never afford
Those nice leather shoes that your feet adore
There's no food for supper but they'll give you this
The poor reach for your love and give you a kiss
~~
There is rich love that always wants to buy
If you stay with the rich they'll buy your hearts rights
They'll buy you a huge home, they'll make you their star
If you'll say you love them, they'll buy you a car
~~
There is selfish love that always just wants
Everything for themselves, with your heart they taunt
They want this and that but they never do give
I'll ask just what kind of evil love this is??
~~
There is greedy love that's just after one thing
They want what they want and they'll bite with sting
Don't they know that they'll only end up alone
In their old age of greed in an old folks home
~~
There is the game players love this one hurts the most
They say all the right things that you want to know
They watch you with evil eyes they don't really care
How badly they hurt you, how bad your heart they tear
~~
There is hateful love it' comes from the rebound
It doesn't mean to hurt you but my friend it's around
If you close your eyes and don't see this in them
You'll be sorry you loved them in the end
~~
There is friendship love some with different tones
There's those feelings inside that some don't show
And what about when you need them by your side
Some come to your rescue and some they hide
~~
There is true love which i've searched for so long
And wanted to feel the heart's beautiful songs
It's a beautiful dream in our humanity
My heart's true love in him will always be
~~
People say they love you , oh can't you see
They just have their own ways and then set you free
If pain was what harmed us and love we knew not
Then another's true heart would be saved, not caught
~~
Now there's many more loves i haven't mentioned here
But i have to close now with my eyes full of tears
If you feel someone's love then be cautious my friend
Of the type of love to you that they send

This is a great write OreO, you had me thinking hard while reading it. It's very thought provoking.
In my experience though, real love is something you find when you stop looking for it. So, get your blindfold on :) |

Got me!!! A truly great write, I just love this ,and your observations are so spot on.
May I make an observation!
My heart has been shattered a 1,000 times and the pain kills, call me weird, but if my heart is broken another 1,000 times at least I know I'm alive.
