Of all creation, this unholy creature
chose to park itself here,
in my humour,
swelling and gorging itself out
on my pain and my suffering.
This… This… This Frog,
croaking and reveling
in the back of my throat,
in my postnasal drip,
clawing visciously at my voice,
this son of a -----
is the reason I write tonight, folks,
not in praise of its campaign against my flesh,
not in dread or sorrow over its strategic gains,
No.
Tonight, I write to concede
to this quiet ----er.
You’ve got my throat,
my body’s gate,
but I still hold the town
and you will NEVER consume me!
So, make this easier on all involved,
and walk on out the way you came in.

i think everyone knows this all too well... at least i do... it sucks to be sick.. and i know how you feel.. but what a great write.. and even though the topic wasnt meant to be funny.. i have to say i giggled a slight..
