Never Again
Your heart just stopped
Now you no longer exist
My tears start
Because of it
You have died in this
God forsaken place
Never to again live
And breathe again
Tears still stream down my face
Because I've lost you to death
I'm left behind
Wondering why
It was you that was taken
And not the one who deserved it
I'm left behind
With the guilty conscience
Of not saying good-bye
One last time

A powerful poem to show the anger that death will cause
In the end life is pain as we are all born to die.
Death is only a new door to be opened.
Only God has all the answers...

If you could use another word in place of again.. I don't know..but using the word again so frequently, in such a short span. Maybe just re-word it..

Death can do this to us.... Great write....
I have had to deal with the deaths of 4 family members this year alone..and believe me... I know the anger and the hurt.

Don't feel bad about not saying good-bye, I'm
sure whoever it is knows that you care. Some
of life's most important lessons are the
hardest to learn. Just make sure that you tell
everyone that you have now how much they
mean to you as often as you can. Good luck
