Arising Love

Arising Love

Somewhere in a heart
Love raises his head
So long it was thought
He was forever dead

But he hears a voice
Searching in the night
Could it be hope
Offering a light

His wounds quickly healed
By compassions added strength
Once more he believes
Hope encourages him at length

He will issue forth
The journey once more begin
The miracle of love
Arises again

Tomorrow is exciting
The past not forgotten but old
The pain has retreated
Once more he is bold

With resolve and trepidation
Love takes the field
Resolute and focused
To fear he will not yield

Scars partially hidden
Hope holding his hand
Love once more enters the battle
On faith he will stand

Lone_er

you write very well.. you certainly bring out
the trolley car syndrome...one is always
coming along...just don't become obsessed
by the motorman....
