The stars hang by ropes
Like stages hanging its style
These stars reflect the hopes
that lay in the eyes of every child
Your stars are the lights
that brighten your nights
to make you feel right
when the suns not in sight
Drawing attention to the future's seeds
Of America such wonderfully,
Child bright and strong
I hope these stars can hang long
I hope for hope
In time of dispare
I hope things are wonderful
When these stars are no longer there
