She: A Woman Like No Other

Contributed by Chabelita on Monday, 18th November 2002 @ 01:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

She is one forged within fire,
Like the strongest steel
Pounded upon the altar by Thor’s Hammer.
And you can see it in her eyes,
Pools of glowing orange,
Flowing like molten liquid,
Burning all they gaze upon.

She is one born of water,
Like the river Nile
Flowing freely from the crescent in the sky.
And you can feel it in her hips,
Waves of sapphire ice,
Swinging in a rhythmic sea,
Seducing many as they dance.

She is one chiseled from stone,
Like a marble wall
Crafted by the hands of the greatest sculptor.
And you can hear it in her voice,
Mountains of granite rock,
Standing strong against worn time,
Crushing those who press too hard.

She is one made of flesh,
Like all human kind
Conceived in the womb that held all Men.
But you can see it in her heart,
Cells of crimson blood,
Made different from everyone else,
Made unique, built in singularity.

She is one laid in the stars,
Like no other being has,
Shining brightly for eternity.
And you can see it in her walk,
A woman made of pride,
Set apart from the normal world,
Meant for greater things.
