SCRUB A RUB, DUB

Contributed by emystar on Sunday, 31st October 2004 @ 10:02:52 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

"I am the door: by me

if any man enter in,

he shall be saved,

and shall go in and out,

and find pasture."

              John 10:9

SultryRose's Signatures

Things get complicated.
At times life is x rated.
Confussion tends to
frazzle things we do.

Scrub a rub dub
No ned to fret
As God's wash cycle begins.
Scrub a rub dub
He'll cleanse one-n-all
everytime his name we call.

Washing, rinse-n-spin
cleansing all from deep within.
Can't hide from him, see
He washes then sets free.

No one's too dirty friend.
He'll wash us again-n-again.
When ya need renewed
let his wash cycle cleanse you.

I am sitting here trying to NOT let tears flow from my eyes. I think it was the music that played which was lovely Emy and your poem turned out more powerful than I could have imagined.

It is amazing to me that you basically wrote a poem from a simple hello note. The Poetess lives within you at all times.

The scripture and pic did this an incredible justice.

I'm moved, impressed and deeply touched.

May peace stay in your heart forever Emy.

Kie
