my world is made of two
opposites
side by side
but separated by a gap
the canyon of fate
only one can fill that
can hold it in place
and guess what
that someone is you
you are my safety pin
you hold my world together
bring two into one
and as our love grows
the worlds join
and forever we shall be
happily
my world meets yours
and we are bound together
by the safety of you
you are my safety pin
for when you let go
you will always be in place
that special place inside
in my heart
bound by the thread of love
