I woke to a piercing light and as I looked out my window to the gray clouds
A single white feather fell and descended an angel
Of whose beauty none can compare to
She held out her hand and as I grasped it I began to float up
As though I myself had sprouted wings
She took me to a far away place, a place I could call my own
But as my feet touched the ground, there was restlessness about
As I looked, the land turned barren and charred and the angel’s halo and feathers turned black
And as I turned to meet her gaze I realized the one that I trusted had changed in an instant
And that I could not bear to see

Very allegorical. Nice touch.
But you need to do some research.
An Archangel is a special "messenger of God", therefore would not have time to go flitting you off to far-away places.
No...what you had was your general, run of the mill, common as grass angels.
