My Self Indulgence

Contributed by frozensuicide on Monday, 18th November 2002 @ 01:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

No matter how much you might think this…
You have to know it’s not possibly true.
Please never stop believing this,
The sadness I put your through.

I never meant to bring this burden on you…
Making you do everything?
My self-indulgence has brought you to this,
Freezing your heart, where it no longer can sing.

I never realized the throbbing I’ve caused you,
I’ve never let you do or get what you wanna get…
And I have no excuse to explain.
I’ve made your life stressful, and maybe regret.

I think your soul needs to fly,
I’m sorry I never saw this before…
All your stress needs to die.

I’m sorry for never being there,
To help you out when you needed it.
I’ve made you do everything it seems…
Even when you didn’t get the benefit.

You are no longer going through this alone.
I will do all that I need to do.
I’m scared of the future, and what it might happen.
What can happen to your love with us from you?

We do love you mom,
And so do I.
If we help you out,
Will you promise never to cry?

I don’t want you to feel ashamed…
I don’t want you to ever lose your love for me…
I don’t want you to think I can’t help you do anything,
But for the fact of who I am, that might be easy.

My self-indulgence for being lazy and thinking only of myself,
Has brought you to your sadness.
My ignoring all your stressful gestures,
Thinking you only took it out on me from nothingness.
