A Scream They Never Heard

Contributed by assassinatorgirl on Friday, 29th October 2004 @ 08:28:33 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

And the threads of hate were sewn into this soul,
the lies and bloodlust having taken their toll.
Of the injuries she cried, and sook out redemption,
bloody tears streaming down with no particular direction.
Through the dark forest she ran, mud clinging to her,
she fell in the rain and was completely sure,
that everyone was meant to die painfully alone,
noone caring for you, when into death you're thrown,
and her corpse decayed into the soft ground,
with only a cry echoing around,
and she sobbed in her death, a ghostly spirit,
if you begin to listen, you may just hear it,
the pain of a young eleven year old girl,
who tried but lost any hope in this world.

Very visual and chilling, an awesome write, with feelings of pure fear and lost hope, cool poem well worth reading it, 5/5 from me.
