Loving The Storm

Contributed by eyesxcriedxout1989 on Friday, 29th October 2004 @ 08:22:50 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Thunder rolls
Through this hollow soul
And lightning flows
Through these veins
Like a war, it goes on
Like a war...it kills
Kills feelings
And suffocates conciousness
Coma takes hold
And darkness slips in
Screaming, sobbing
But light prevails
The light so beautiful
Like love
And love saves
When darkness seeps
Through lacerations
Caused by darkness
Love saves
When thunder collapses your soul
And love saves
When lightning
Shorts you out
Your love saved me
When darkness was closing its wounds
...My wounds
Like sun shining through storm clouds
Your love shone through me
And still shines

Beautifull! How strong the bond of love can be. Love really lifts the soul & carries one through many storms. Excellent write.
Nice job.

emotion is often as turbulent as the sea, or as erratic as a thunder storm. Great job expressing yourself, and how love makes you feel. I also have written several poems on love.
