I am sending a thousand sorries your way,
Because you really deserve them today,
I have really hurt you, for that I feel regret,
Never the look on your face will I ever forget.
Nor will I forget the tears that you cried,
As I sat holding your hand by your side,
Your eyes usually hold such a shine,
But sadly they didn’t at this time.
All they held was a lifetime of sadness,
I was behind your feelings of badness,
I feel ashamed over causing you to cry,
I treated you badly for that I don’t deny.
But I’m going to spend my time making sure,
That I give you love & so much more,
If a thousand sorries are not enough for you,
I’ll send you a thousand more to get you through.
Sorry to me is more than a five letter word,
I am going to tell you until it is properly heard,
I want you to know what your happiness means to me,
To see you smile & hear you laugh fills me with glee.
I will never stop loving you even when I am gone,
As I know together is where you & I belong,
I whisper you a thousand words of sorry,
Never again will I make you feel worry.

You express your pain and regrets so openly. It is a great healing tool. This was well spoken and very in depth of the emotional rollercoaster we put our loved ones through.
I hope he understands. (As I'm sure he does), from reading your other poems. Be well my friend.
