The longer she searches
the more she steps back
it's all in the quotient
and who runs the tracks.
The longer she's lost
the harder to find
a lord for abandon
and the ties to bind.
The longer she aches
the taller the walls
trusting in no one
she trembles from the fall.
The longer she hides
the higher the flood
trapped in the underbrush
of her all consuming blood.
The longer she cries
the darker the woods
no one to find her
and she's all out of "should's".

I had forgotten how powerful your poetry truly is.
This one blew me away, i'm astounded.
The ending, WOW.
It makes me wonder how many people feel the very same way?

I agree with Kylie.......
This is filled with such desperation.
I feel bad to see you even writing of such sadness. You should be laughing instead my friend.
Roses for a lovely lady
