Summers end
The fresh smell of summers gentle breeze still jogs my memory.
I can still almost feel the temperate humid air baking my skin brown.
But the air is now stagnant.
The breeze is chilled like deaths pale hand.
Winter comes quickly, like words spoken from lovers mouths.
All changes in nearly in instant,
The same applies for love.
As fast as winters deadly frost, she broke my heart.
What took so long to grow, and what once was so beautiful was killed by her arctic words.
Oh summer, I long for the forgiving sun again.
Please come and melt winters icey grasp,
So i can be freed from my frozen misery.
